Valarie is a dedicated patient advocate with over seven years of experience, focusing on health equity and cancer education within the African American community. She actively participates in panels on clinical research and is deeply engaged in spreading awareness on cancer in underserved populations. Passionate about bridging gaps in healthcare, Valarie collaborates with several organizations to educate and empower patients, particularly around chronic illnesses like multiple myeloma and breast cancer.

When she is not advocating for health equity, Valarie enjoys hiking, biking, trying new recipes, and engaging with her local cancer resource center.
