Elena Solopova

Elena Solopova serves as the Program Coordinator for No Patient Left Behind (NPLB). Elena is a molecular biologist who believes that while creating medicines to fight diseases we should also fight to make those medicines affordable.

Elena was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with the highest honors and majors in molecular biology and science communication. At Vanderbilt, she strived to support international students through founding and running campus organizations. Elena dedicated thousands of hours to investigating the molecular mechanisms of pathology in Alzheimer’s disease at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In her free time, she enjoys climbing rocks and hosting mafia games. She can be reached at elena@nopatientleftbehind.org.
